Luminary Society Retreat Registration & Cancellation Policy

We can't wait to welcome you to the Luminary Society Retreat in Sunriver, Oregon. Because this is an intimate retreat with limited accommodations, your registration reserves space that may no longer be available to another attendee.

Please review the following policies before registering.

Registration & Payment

Your registration is confirmed once your initial payment has been successfully processed.

Pay-in-full registrations are charged the full retreat price at the time of purchase.

If you select a 4-month payment plan, the first payment is charged at registration and the remaining payments are automatically charged to the payment method on file according to the payment schedule shown at checkout.

A payment plan is a commitment to the full retreat price, not a month-to-month membership. Cancellation does not cancel the remaining payment obligation except as provided under the cancellation policy below.

Founding Experience Pricing

Founding Experience pricing is available through January 15, 2027, as shown on the registration page.

Registrations completed after January 15, 2027 will be subject to the then-current retreat pricing and availability.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made on or before January 15, 2027 are eligible for a refund of payments made, less a $250 nonrefundable reservation fee.

After January 15, 2027, all payments are nonrefundable.

For attendees using a payment plan, cancellation after January 15 does not eliminate the obligation to complete the remaining scheduled payments.

Registration Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another eligible attendee through March 22, 2027, subject to approval by Luminary Society and availability of the applicable accommodation.

Registrations may not be sold, advertised for resale, or transferred to another person without prior approval from Luminary Society.

Any financial arrangement between the original attendee and an approved replacement attendee is the responsibility of those individuals unless otherwise agreed to by Luminary Society.

Shared Accommodations

Shared King Suite pricing is per person, and both roommates must register separately.

Luminary Society does not provide roommate matching for Shared King Suites. If you select this accommodation, you are responsible for registering with the person with whom you intend to share the suite.

Shared Lodge accommodations are individually registered sleeping spaces within shared rooms and do not require you to register with a roommate.

Accommodation selections are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until registration and the applicable payment have been completed.

What's Included

Your retreat registration includes your selected accommodations for three nights, retreat programming and Luminary Labs, The Luminary Field Guide, scheduled meals and refreshments, and the included pre- and post-retreat experiences described on the retreat website.

Optional upgrades or enhancements—including massage, photography, or other add-on experiences—are not included unless specifically stated.

Optional Enhancements

Optional experiences are subject to availability and may have their own scheduling, cancellation, or refund terms.

Purchasing an optional enhancement does not modify the cancellation or refund terms of your primary retreat registration.

Dietary Needs & Allergies

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions communicated to us in advance. However, meals may be prepared or served in shared kitchens or facilities, and we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from allergens or cross-contact.

Attendees with severe food allergies or specific medical dietary requirements are responsible for determining whether the available arrangements are appropriate for their individual needs.

Travel & Transportation

Transportation to and from Sunriver is not included in retreat registration unless specifically stated otherwise.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and related expenses.

We strongly encourage attendees to consider travel insurance if unexpected illness, weather, transportation issues, or other circumstances could prevent attendance.

Retreat Changes or Cancellation

Luminary Society reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, speakers, activities, meals, or other program details when necessary.

If Luminary Society cancels the retreat entirely, attendees will receive a refund of retreat registration payments made to Luminary Society.

Luminary Society is not responsible for reimbursement of airfare, transportation, lodging booked separately, or other travel-related expenses.

Attendee Responsibility

By registering, you acknowledge that participation in retreat activities is voluntary and that you are responsible for determining whether individual activities are appropriate for you.

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants.
